Sensor Control
The no-touch control of Intersan electronic wash troughs use a passive detection system powered by a 10.8V lithium battery-pack. The passive infrared sensors only react to temperature radiated by human hands in a broad three dimensional detection field. Accordingly, neither skin nor darkness, daylight, noise or objects can disturb their accurate mode of operation. Though the detection field is very broad, it remains strictly confined to the inner dimensions of the wash trough, thus prohibiting unwanted operation by passers-by. The electromagnetic valve is entirely controlled by an integrated microprocessor. Upon activation water flows for a minimum of 8 seconds, and continues for as long as hands remain present in the detection field. The valve only closes after a continued absence of any detection for three seconds. In between two cycles of water flow, an interval of two seconds prevents system abuse.
