SANIWAVE® DESCRIPTION

The SANIWAVE® is designed for use as either an individual wash station or as a bank of wash stations each supplied with an independent drain and trap. Additionally, standard shelving is provided to accessorize the unit. Given the modular characteristics of the SANIWAVE®, bowls can either be installed with shelving at 30” or 40” centers, allowing for maximum user comfort. The fixture saves water and energy over conventional plumbing fixtures. Each vandal resistant spray nozzle dispenses water at a rate of 0.5 GPM.

SANIWAVE’S® innovative integral bowl and trap cover as well as shelving is made of SOLIDSAN™, a composite material of acrylic polyester polymer resins and aluminum trihydrate fillers, which has the look of elegance, pleasant to the touch, but is equally durable and resistant to permanent staining. The unit complies with ANSI Z124.3 and Z124.6. It is resistant to stains and burns. SOLIDSAN™ cleans easily with Scrotchbrite™, household cleansers or fine grit sand paper. The sprayhead and locking cover is constructed of 304 stainless steel (polished finish) and allows for easy access to all working components. As an option, Istronic or Santronic passive infrared battery operated sensor operated faucets may be specified as an alternative to the sprayhead.

SANIWAVE® FLOW CONTROL

The microprocessor controls the opening and closing of the solenoid valve. The water flows a minimum of 5 seconds and a maximum of 30 seconds. If the user finishes washing before the maximum delay, the solenoid valve closes in 1.5 seconds and stops the water flow. The no-touch control eliminates user's contact with soiled and contaminated surfaces.

SANIWAVE® OPTIONS

No-Touch Soap Dispenser (with sensor operated units):
SANIWAVE® can be supplied with an integrated liquid soap dispenser. Before start of the water flow cycle, the user is provided with an amount of liquid soap without having to touch anything at all.

Thermostatic Mixing Valve

Air controlled Pushbutton Metering Valve:
SANIWAVE® can be supplied with an optional air controlled pushbutton metering valve that is field adjustable to allow from 5 to 60 seconds of water flow.

Pushbutton Liquid Soap Dispenser:
SANIWAVE® can be supplied with an integrated pushbutton liquid soap dispenser.

Cleaning Function (with sensor operated units):
Puts (manually or via remote control) the washfountain in a mode where the valve remains closed for a period of 2 minutes. An acoustic signal, accompanied by a short delay of 3 seconds, indicates the end of the cleaning function.

SANIWAVE® lavatory with special deckplate and INTERSAN electronic faucets

Stainless Steel Side Finishing Cover:
SANIWAVE® can be supplied with a stainless steel side finishing cover as an alternative for the shelf.

SANIFOUNT® SPACE SAVINGS

Intersan offers the same number of stations in 47% to 51% less foot print area.

SANIFOUNT® FLOW CONTROL

The water flow cycle is controlled by a central microprocessor, which monitors the opening and closing of the solenoid valve, based on the information received from the sensors detecting human warmth.

Two types of flow control are available:

MINI-CYCLE:
Water flows 5 seconds minimum and maximum for 30 seconds. When the user finishes washing his or her hands prematurely, the valve will be closed after a delay of 1.5 seconds. This specific cycle offers maximum water conservation.

MAXI-CYCLE:
Water flows for at least 8 seconds and the valve remains open as long as the user is washing his hands. The flow only stops when no detection has occurred during a time period of 3 seconds. This cycle offers optimum user convenience.

In order to avoid abuse, a delay of 2 seconds is programmed after each cycle, thus preventing the station from being used.

SANIFOUNT® OPTIONS

Integrated No-Touch Liquid Soap Dispenser (with Sensor Operated Units):
SANIFOUNT® can be supplied with an integrated no-touch liquid soap dispenser. Before start of the water flow cycle, the user is provided with an amount of liquid soap without having to touch anything at all.

Thermostatic Mixing Valve

Cleaning Function (with Sensor Operated Units):
Places (manually or via remote control) the washfountain in a mode where all valves remain closed for a period of 2 minutes, except for one. This latter valve provides for water while cleaning the SANIFOUNT®. After 1.5 minutes water stops flowing at this station too, which allows the surface of the washfountain to be dried entirely. An acoustic signal, accompanied by a short delay of 3 seconds, indicates the end of the cleaning function.

Air controlled Pushbutton Metering Valve:
SANIFOUNT® can be supplied with an optional air controlled pushbutton metering valve that is field adjustable to allow from 5 to 60 seconds of water flow.

Pushbutton Liquid Soap Dispenser:
SANIFOUNT® can be supplied with an integrated pushbutton liquid soap dispenser.

SANIFOUNT® ADVANTAGES

Maximum Hygiene Through No-Touch Electronic Control:
SANIFOUNT® is engineered to be completely hygienic, the no-touch control eliminates every contact with soiled and contaminated surfaces. The smooth high-tech synthetic compound material, SOLIDSAN™, assures a rapid and easy drain of the water, thus maintaining the bowl in a clean manner. The perfectly integrated component, with removable protection cover, avoids buildup of dirt and bacteria. The optional no-touch soap dispenser further expands the level of comfort and hygiene.

Economy of Space:
Because of its special concept and its compact design SANIFOUNT® replaces 2, 3 or 4 conventional lavatories. SANIFOUNT® is the ideal space-saving solution to washrooms with intensive use.

Autonomy Through Battery-Operation:
A 10.8V lithium battery-pack assures an entirely autonomous operation, electrical connections are not necessary. The battery-pack has a longevity of approximately 3 to 5 years at an average of 4,000 uses per month.

Easy Installation:
The unit is entirely pre-assembled with integrated components, which allows for quick and easy connections to the water supplies. Damage to new or existing washrooms interiors for additional electrical wiring and recesses for transformers is excluded by the use of batteries as a power source.

Easy Maintenance:
The unit is designed in such a way that all key components (microprocessor, battery, valves and sensors) can be reached from the top of the unit.

User Friendly:
SANIFOUNT® is designed and manufactured to meet the most stringent U.S. and international standards. The no-touch control and its design is extremely user friendly. Physically challenged and disabled users can easily approach and make use of the SANIFOUNT®. Complies with ADA.

Water and Energy Conservation:
Water only flows during effective usage. The temperature of the water can be controlled through the use of the optional thermostatic mixing valve.

Vandal Resistant:
The water distribution head made from stainless steel and its sturdy cover guarantee durability and protection against possible vandals. The passive detection system avoids continuous water flow when an object is placed in the bowl. In between two washing cycles a safety hold-off of 2 seconds is provided to avoid water waste.

Barrier-Free / ADA Compliant:
Meets ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), CAL (California Building Code), TAS (Texas Accessibility Standards) requirements.
