MULTISET® LAVATORIES
Description | Options | Model Configurations | Advantages
MULTISET® DESCRIPTION
The system design of MULTISET® lavatories represents an innovation in public washrooms by providing combinations of single units that create multi-unit stations, either wall hung or freestanding.
This innovative fixture allows for flexible layouts and efficient traffic patterns in the design of public washrooms. The single unit platform enables the designer to plan washstations of varying lengths and to extend existing MULTISET® installations without disassembly. The unique assembly system consists of hook-in type pedestals supporting beams and brackets.
The MULTISET® can accept the ISTRONIC® as well, creating a flexible sensor operated multiple washstation.
Materials used:
Heavy Duty Type 304 Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Corrosion Resistant Steel Supporting Brackets and Pedestal.

MULTISET® ADVANTAGES
Flexible Layouts: The combination of single units in multiple stations either wall hung or freestanding, allows flexible layouts and efficient traffic patterns even in narrow corridors.
Add-on units Add-on units enable ranges to be built to required lengths and enable extension of existing MULTISET® installations without need for disassembly. This unique assembly system consists of hook-in type pedestals, supporting beams and brackets.
Durable and Sturdy Construction: The washbasin is deepdrawn from one sheet of stainless steel: it will not corrode, is virtually unbreakable, is difficult to dent or deform and is resistant to thermal shock.

WASH TROUGH DESCRIPTION
The INTERSAN wash troughs are extremely well suited for places where durable, but especially functional washroom equipment is of importance. All wash trough models are made of 20 gauge type 304 stainless steel. This functionality is emphasized by the combination possibilities of the existing types of wash troughs: wall hung and freestanding central models.
Installation is quick and further simplified through the use of easy fastening system and pre-assembled water supply pipes, incorporated inside the back of the troughs. The electronic models are equipped with a connection box that contains all electronic components and the water distribution system. Anchoring bolts are supplied with each fixture, either for easy attachment to the wall (wall hung models) or for anchoring the pedestals to the floor (central models) The rigid pedestals are manufactured from zinc-phosphated steel plate, finished with black epoxy-polyester powder coating.
Available models:
Wall Hung Wash Troughs: The wall hung wash troughs (type TM) were primarily designed for narrow washrooms, and can serve from two up to five users simultaneously. They can be combined with either traditional faucets or with a no-touch electronic control system based on passive detection technology.
Central Wash Troughs: In those washrooms where plenty of space is available, or where solid walls are lacking, central wash troughs (type TC) can be integrated. These freestanding models are equipped with traditional faucets and consist of two back-to-back assembled wall troughs, seated on two rigid pedestals.
WASH TROUGHS MODE OF OPERATION
Sensor Control: The no-touch control of INTERSAN electronic wash troughs use a passive detection system powered by a 10.8V lithium battery-pack. The passive infrared sensors only react to temperature radiated by human hands in a broad three dimensional detection field. Accordingly, neither skin nor darkness, daylight, noise or objects can disturb their accurate mode of operation. Though the detection field is very broad, it remains strictly confined to the inner dimensions of the wash trough, thus prohibiting unwanted operation by passers-by. The electromagnetic valve is entirely controlled by an integrated microprocessor. Upon activation water flows for a minimum of 8 seconds, and continues for as long as hands remain present in the detection field. The valve only closes after a continued absence of any detection for three seconds. In between two cycles of water flow, an interval of two seconds prevents system abuse.

Cleaning Function: (electronic wash troughs) Places (manually or via remote control) the wash trough in a mode where all valves remain closed for a period of 2 minutes, allowing cleaning and drying. An acoustic signal, accompanied by a short delay of 3 seconds, indicates the end of the cleaning function.
